How can I access full-text of content from magazines or newspapers or academic journals or other periodicals through the library?
Answer
From the library website toggle to the Journals & Newspapers by Title tab above the search box and type in the title of the newspaper, magazine, journal, or other periodical you’d like to access.
Then choose one of the databases that contains the periodical you want to access, and contains the dates you are interested in. Choose one that goes up to the present for the most recent issues.
Then you can type in keywords to search within that periodical, or click on a year to expand the list of issues and choose one, including the latest issue.
For a given article, choose PDF under Access options, if it's available, to see that article as it appeared in the magazine, with the graphics and photos, etc., included.
To find periodicals included in the library's databases, you can search the Publication Finder tool or browse this list of periodicals by subject.
