For a link to an individual item in the VSCS Libraries Catalog:

You can copy the URL from the address bar of your browser.  You can also shorten it when you copy it by not selecting or by deleting everything after the biblio number, like this, and it will still work.

https://catalog.libraries.vsc.edu/cgi-bin/koha/opac-detail.pl?biblionumber=294220&query_desc=kw%2Cwrdl%3A%20anne%20of%20green%20gables

https://catalog.libraries.vsc.edu/cgi-bin/koha/opac-detail.pl?biblionumber=294220

To link to search results in the catalog:

You can also copy the URL from the address bar for search results.  You can also shorten it when you copy it, taking off everything after the terms of your search, like this

https://catalog.libraries.vsc.edu/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?idx=&q=world+music&limit=&weight_search=1

https://catalog.libraries.vsc.edu/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?idx=&q=world+music

Carts and lists

You also have the option to add items to a cart or a list by clicking the box to the left of the item in your search results.  The cart works like a shopping cart for online shopping, and can only be accessed until you close the tab or browser.

A list can be saved to access after your current browser session, by logging in, using the same log-in you use for email, the portal and Canvas, etc. Use the link at the top right to log in. If you've already logged in, your name will appear there.

Use the drop-down menu under With selected titles: Add to

Choose Cart or New List.  You'll need to give your list a name.

To get back to your list in the future, after you log in to your account within the catalog, use the Lists link at the top left of the screen, that looks like this:
