You can access New York Times articles and pages from specific dates in history from 1851-2020 through the Historical New York Times database. On the VSCS libraries website, you can find the Historical New York Times database by first choosing Individual Databases, then clicking on Browse or search full database list, as shown in the images below.

After you've opened the Historical New York Times database, click on Advanced Search.
 
Under Publication Date, select Specific Date Range and put in the date you're interested in.
 
 
To see the whole page where any article is included, click on Page View PDF after you've selected an article.
 
To see any whole page for a specific date, select Full-text PDF for any article. Click on Page View PDF. Then you can select a specific page to view, by typing in the page number. 
 
 
You can click on the printer icon to save as a PDF or print.
