For lots of ideas for current and debatable topics to research, you can browse our Opposing Viewpoints database list of issues here. If you click on any of those topics you'll get to lots of content to help you explore and learn about that issue.  On the VSCS libraries website, you can find the Opposing Viewpoints database by first choosing Individual Databases, then clicking on Browse or search full database list, as shown in the images below.

In the Opposing Viewpoints database, to get to the list of topics to browse, click on the Browse Issues button that looks like this:
