Right-sizing and updating our physical collection is an academic library best practice and it is just one step in the collection management process. Our online collections have also been neglected over the past 3 to 5 years. The process of reviewing our electronic collection will begin at a later time. When the electronic collections streamlining process begins, we will follow the same path as we did for the physical collection. The only difference is that we also consider if the ebook is part of a licensed package, if it works well within our LMS, and any licensing and/or subscription elements that are important.
